WSPTA Membership Incentives:

If each PTA in the state enrolled 10 new members, the Washington State PTA would achieve our immediate membership goal of over 150,000 members statewide.

Each PTA that increases its membership by at least 10 members and has paid for those members by March 1st will be given special recognition at the State PTA Convention in May, 2010.

KAC Membership Announcements:

The KAC President & Membership Chair will Join your Unit! At each KAC General Membership Meeting, Sharon & Hallie will Join 3 Units! What do you have to do? Come to the meeting and ASK! Who can ASK? Anyone in your Unit! Let us know what you are doing and ask us to Join! Don’t Forget, Bring your Membership Form!

Deadline for Level 1 ~ Bronze Award ~ September 30th! We want to Achieve 100% Participation! Enroll 50% of the previous year’s membership by September 30th.

Membership Breakout: Please join us for a membership breakout on Monday, September 28th! Can’t attend? Send a representative from your Board.

KAC Membership Distribution List: Please email Hallie Knudson ~ membership@kacpta.org with your Local Unit’s Membership Chair, Phone, and Email address ASAP!

Membership Fees are $ 8.75 for 2009 - 2010:

WSPTA	$5.25
Council	$1.75
		$8.75 per member

Please Note: Your October Remittance Form will automatically add a one-time fee (for WSPTA) of $5 per unit to help send the WSPTA Outstanding Local Unit to National Convention.

Membership Payment Deadlines for 2009—2010:

All collected National, State and Council Fees and a Remittance Form are due to Kent Area PTA Council, and can be either mailed to Council by the Payment Deadline or brought to the KAC General Membership Meetings.

Note: WSPTA Membership Fees Increased $.50 for 2009 – 2010, and will increase $0.25 in 2010—2011 and $0.25 IN 2011—2012. Please verify with your Treasurer that your budget reflects the increase.
